Ach, summer reading. I remember that, I procrastinated 'til the last week or so as well. But lucky me, I don't have any summer reading anymore.

And you reminded me, lots of stuff played by Eric Clapton is pretty heavy on the wah. and good luck on your reading!

I thought most of RATM was a Whammy pedal?

I could be wrong, but it sounds like a Whammy.

Listen to "Still Raining, Still Dreaming" by Hendrix, then learn it.

Also, there's millions of Chilis songs with wah, loads off the new album.

Give 10 UGers a rope and ask them to pull. 4 will push, 1 will ask for buttsecks, 2 will tell you get an Ibanez and the last 3 will start complaining about Line6 Spiders.

White Room - Cream
Jimi Hendrix used a lot too
Jimmy Page used Wah pedals not to do the wah effects but to get a sharp tone
like in Communication Breakdown
#37
Say What by Stevie Ray Vaughan I actually heard that in the studio Stevie sat down using 2 wah pedals a crybaby and a vox rocking them back and forth for the song. Can anyone verify this? I love SRV and he has some pretty good songs with the wah pedal, the other times he uses a tubescreamer. Also it might not be the way you are tending to use the wah pedal but Cream's Sunshine Of your Love uses a wah pedal all the way down with the gain and volume all the way and the neck pickup's tone at 0. That will give you the "woman" tone.
#38
machine gun-hendrix that song is hard to learn but ones u got it its awsome

A lot of Satriani's stuff uses a wah (Surfing With The Alien)

also, Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society) likes to use a wah also, but his is a signature model...

And of course, Hendrix recorded a lot of classic tunes using a wah (Voodoo Child, All Along The Watchtower etc...)

Summertime Blues by eddie cochrin lol. I dont even know why I know that song, it is pretty fun to play though actually.
