The DA15 doesn't have a tube in the preamp circuit.

Frankly, they sound about the same, the preamp tube doesn't alter the tone much.

Sorry for the shameless plug, but check out my sig; I'm selling my like-new AD15VT for fairly cheap in hopes of getting a new paintball gun.

I have the DA15 and I really like it so far. I got the guy at guitar center to let me have it for $150 with no tax, so that was pretty cool. The different settings are completely different, each one has a very recognizable tone. I'm not a big fan of the effects, mainly because I just don't understand how to change the parameters of each. It can go very loud too. I was playing inside while my mom was working around the house outside, and she said she could hear it. I've never played the AD15VT though, so I can't compare the two.

The VT has the whole tube thing going on. Bigger/better speaker as well. Id recommend that.
