Ive been playing guitar for about 3 years now, and ive been looking to get a new guitar for a while now.
While I've been browsing the net, i came across the Ibanez RG Presteige 2570E.
I've played a few times in the shop now, but i'm jus a bit baffled about the tuning on it. Cause when ever i've tryed to detune in the shop......it just doesnt detune. Is this because it has a floating Bridge on it or something??

its because of the locknut.. you can't detune it without removing the locknut first

Tuning floyd roses are very much different from normal fixed bridge guitar.

the RGA121 has a Gibraltar Plus Bridge, way easier to tune and a beautiful guitar

edit : just seen the bit about u playing it, DOH

yes its got an Edge Pro II bridge, what u gotta do is loosen the lock-nut at the top, tune to whatever u want then tighten up the nut, then u can use the fine adjusters on the bridge to adjust it now and again without having to do the lock nut every single time.

RG2570E has the Edge Pro, so does all the RG Prestige series.
