So here is my new question, what are chord progressions, how do you use them? thanks for you all heping out. :]

chord progressions are exactly what they sound like. The progression in which the chords go.

well for example...

lets say that you are playing a song in "C"

In that case

C=1
D=2
E=3
F=4
G=5
A=6
B=7

Probroally one of the most popular chord progression is a 1-4-5 progression. In this case you would play a "c" then an "f" then a "g" and you can mix it around. I dont know if this is what you mean, but good luck.
