The Pale Haunt Departure was good for the first 3 songs, then it got ****ing boring. Whiny and annoying. Bleh.

My weirdest dream would have to be when I dreamed that I met this chick I really liked and wanted to practice sex, so I practiced on some guy I met at a gas station...that was pretty screwed up.

I was very pleased with the album also. I actually bought this one.
I'm entitled to double post, so fück off!!!

Novembers Doom = good.

Dark World Burden = mad song.
I like how it kicks in heavy after the acoustic intro.
#22
i just got their new one and its flipping sweet. except its alot faster and more brutal. they are comign out of the doom part a little bit on this one.

Man, I wish I could find their new one. I have Pale Haunt Departure and Welcome to the Fade, both damn good, but Pale Haunt gets really boring after a while. Welcome to the Fade is badass from start to finish though.
#24
Great band. Everything they've done is pretty good.

To Welcome the Fade, The Pale Haunt Departure, and Of Sculptured Ivy and Stone Flowers are my favorites though.

Novembers Doom is awesome! The Knowing - Shadows of Light is a seriously kick@SS tune! I was also introduced to Saturnus via Novermbers Doom, they also rock! A Poem (written in moonlight) cool song but im not sure about the lyrics though "soft like a wise womans cloak"? uhh ok.
#29
Killer band. While I still need to check their albums out, the songs I've heard from them are awesome.
#31
So anyone heard the new album, what are you thoughts because I have not yet been able to find it.

I’m not the man I used to be, I... I can’t go back to Arkham.

I... I should return to Arkham.

I have come home to Arkham.

It's a lot faster with more death metal type riffs. But they still maintained their typical ND sound, for example on the tracks ''Twilight Innocence'' and ''The Novella Reservoir''. I like the album, it's definitely no giant step back but it's no classic either, just a solid release.

Whilst listening to one of their songs, 'Not The Strong', I decided to bump this thread.

When the singer growls 'away', it sounds like it when he does it in 'Lost In A Day', and other songs probably... Just occured to me, that's all lol.

Great band! My favorites would have to be Pale Haunt Departure, Autumn Reflection, and Drown the Inland Mere. Their guitarists are great guys too. I talk to Larry about onces a week.

I've seen some stuff in drop Bb but that might just be some of the newer stuff.

I have Of Sculptured Ivy and Stone Flowers, and I really like all of the transitions and riffs. Their newer stuff seems a little different but just as good.
