I've been playing guitar for about 2 and a half yeas now. I used to be into quite a lot of metal for the first yea or so, so I learned all the pentatonic scales, and harmonic minor. Then I got into Classic Rock, and mainly just came up with riffs, then easily solo over it with pentatonic minor and blues scale.

Now I've been getting alot more into chordal and melodic work. My two favourite guitarists are John Frusciante and George Harrison. But I can't really think of anything new to do with my guitar. I play keyboard, and I played flute for 2 years, so I have fairly good knowlege of theory. But I was wondering if anyone knew anyways to spice up my playing, e.g. adding notes onto chords, new scales to learn?
