Simple. It's the amp. Getting EVH tone out of a Twin Reverb is as likely as Nazis supporting jews.

The pick-up would fit, but the screws may not line up.

Red dots are where the screws are on the bridge, blue is where the screws would have to be with the pick-up you linked

^ what will minus said, probably.

anyway, you gotta ask yourself what tones you want out of it. Cos it doesn't sound anything like a humbucker...
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Or there's another option. It may be costly though.. STEEL SHOP! They can work on the plate for you and get it so it fits! And maybe even fill up the holes! Then just re-chrome it so it's all pretty, and you got yourself one unique bridge!

OR! you can get a tele bridge that fits a Humbucker! :P That will give a nice deep humbucker sound! With a bit of twang! :P
