Thats quite expensive for that epiphone, i've seen it much cheaper than that in the past. Generally washburns are great guitars and they are better value for money than epiphones.

That washburn has no finish and probably pretty horrible pickups.
Ibanez -> Peavey -> Eardrums

Apparently I'm on some list of people to listen to..?

But then check out this Washburn!:

Whats the catch? Why is the Epiphone more expensive when clearly the Washburn is better?

wow, dumb. it's ''clearly better'' becasue of the color?? it doesn't make it better if you think it looks better. wtf.

I have two Washburn-made guitars.

Fabulous quality, great stock pickups, excellent feel to them overall.

They're so versatile! I love the hell out of my Washburn WR and my Oscar Schmidt Delta King!
My gear:

MIJ Squier Stratocaster

Washburn WR150 Quilted Top

Oscar Schmidt Semi-hollow Delta King

Epiphone Hummingbird

Amps: Fender Eighty-Five

washburns are cheaper because they arent as "well known" as other brands. i have 3 washburns (soon to be 4) and i can say that my X50, is a far superior instrument than any c-1 out there. and i can compare it to a SG supreme (5 times the amount of the x50)

go with the washburn, you will be a happy camper.

You don't argue with tubadude on Washburn-related matters, he flosses with the G string from a set of 0.12's y'know....and it's WOUND!
