Recently at my local vintage guitar store, I spied an original Lafayette guitar for the 60's, and man it was a beauty. It was only 249 bucks, and played very well unplugged. So I went online to find some info about it before i empty my wallet, but i cant find anything not even a lafayette homepage. Does anyone have any information about lafayette quality as well as advice, or their homepag?

dude it was wild as i was coming to the forums I accidentally click some msn bullsh!t and it shows me this page. http://encarta.msn.com/encnet/features/onthisday.aspx so I read the first couple senteces just to see what it was. and its about continental congress doing something with this french dude named Marquis De Lafayette. Then I come to UG and theres a thread entitled Lafayette. Not a common name! Damn that was crazy.

btw no info on the guitar lol sorry I wasted your time.

Never heard of it. I dont think I would buy a guitar that I've never heard of and can't find any info on. I guess if it sounds good and you really like it just go ahead and get it.
