ive had my vox for 8-9 months now and when i turn it all the way up i get this horrible squeal. is this something common or can i somehow fix it?

The only way to fix it is to get a good running start and kick the holy dick right out of it!

Sounds like feedback. Just turn the volume down. If you still want it louder, its time to get a new amp.

yo it could be feedback or the soldering is loose on your input or your input is broken. just a suggestion check it out.
