Is a 15w tube amp (not miced) enough to play in a band w/ drums for 30-50 people in a church auditorium that sits 150 people?

I already have a twin reverb, but I can't play it w/ the volume on over 2.5 or its way too loud, and it's kind of a drag to carry around.

I want an amp that I could set up with a fairly light crunch. It dosen't have to have a great clean b/c of my twin.

I can only spend about 400 dollars unless I sell my twin .

amps i'm considering (all used):

vox ac 15
fender blues junior

If I need to go up to 30-50 watt range:

vox ac30 (probably too expensive)
fender blues deluxe
sell twin and go boutique

15w is kinda pushing it, depends on your drummer.

If he's considerate you might be able to be heard.
Ibanez -> Peavey -> Eardrums

Apparently I'm on some list of people to listen to..?

I'll probably be looking in the 30+ watt range then.

Yeah 15watts will push out enough VOLUME...but not the sound quality will suffer a lot. 30watts will give you a lot more headroom.

yeah, unless your playing jazz and your drummer is using brushes then your probably going to either going to have to mic it or use your fender twin.

Yeah, at least 30 watts. If you go with a tube amp, a 15 will probably be enough.

^ its going to be a tube amp he says...but 15watts isnt a lot of clean headroom...especially for a church because hes probly going to be using the clean channel a lot.

Yea, they'll work fine (trust me, I've played in a church before at just 4/12 and it filled the room great) but the clean will be slightly broken up.
