turn the pick sideways and run it donw the strings.

you need decent guitar and strings to do it

just make sure ur treble is up and practice it

A pick slide is done by simply sliding your pick up or down the neck on your strings or put the tip of your pick in the middle of two strings and slide up or down...

well I tried that for crazy train I think and it didn't sound at all like it I thought that it should. I just got kind of confused, thanks though.

Randy Rhoads, Kurt Cobain, etc used diddferent methods to get thier unique sounds

Randy prolly trebled the **** out of his distortion pedal to get that squeal... try moving he pick in a back and forth motion while the main slide is going down

and try it between ur A and D strings and start at fret 22-24
