Hi, ive read the cabinet tutorial or whatever, but I was just wondering, are they better speakers for different kinds of music. Like would a certain speaker be better for metal, or a different speaker be better for blues? Me and my dad are going to be building a 4x12 soon. So im probably going to be having a fair amount of questions

yes there are better speakers for different kinds of music. For bluesier and indie stuff I Would say go with vintage 30s made by celestion as with metal, you would want something that probably has more wattage and better sounding for heavier distortion.
Fender Hot Rod Deluxe
Takamine G340SC
Epiphone G 310

Yep, speakers IMO actually have a suprisingly big effect on your overall tone.

Eminences are great.

also, size of the cab and how it is isolated makes a big difference, so make sure you know what you're doing there
