I don't have an 250.

But I do have an ESP Viper...

And my dad has an ESP EC-50..

They both play extreamly well...

So if your considering buying one. Then I say go for it .

Played one in a store last time I was shopping around. They play well and obviously look pretty cool. But you'd want to have quite a nice amp to make it sound really good, or replace the pups, the LH-300s are ok, but no substitute for EMGs.

I have the f400, and it is seriously worth the money. Plus it looks amazing. If you can afford it, step up to the f400, you wont be dissapointed.

basically the 500 will be darker sounding cause i doesnt have a maple top like the 400 and it has an ebony fretboard instead of a rosewood. but im not sure home much of a change it will be because of the EMGs.

I have the f-250 and it's pretty good.
I'm not a fan of emgs or whatever but they do the job right
this is a hardrock/metal guitar, but it can pull of other sounds
yeah you'd have to get a good amp to make it sound good, and maybe a good dist. pedal for that crunch
all in all it's a good buy for 450

I dont know what agathis is, or if it's bad, but it doesnt bother me at all
the floyd is liscensed, and its the "low profile" version. hasnt failed on me yet
I dont get why liscensed floyds are "worse" but they seem fine to me.

again, I'm a fan of PRS's and LPs but this was cheaper and a had a floyd so I took this one
maybe I'll get some dragon2000's for my pickups....

but the f-250 is a good buy

(btw the finish is a bit easy to scratch, but thats about all there is. I dropped a screwdriver on it and it held out..haha but that was from a few inches..)
