v1
home is just a state of mind
home is just a state of mind
look around, you will find
that everyone's alone

v2
memory feels just seccond best
memories feel just seccond best
as your smile slips into your chest
sinking like a stone

chorus:
no matter where you were born
no matter where you planned to be,
nothing will be the same again

v3
comfort's just a temporary thing
comfort's just a temporary thing
and all the songs that made you sing
will fade into the night

chorus:
no matter where you were born
no matter where you planned to be,
nothing will be the same

extention of chorus:
and if we learn to accept it
that time will never stop
i think we'll be happier, happier than before

I agree. Too much repitition makes it seem muddy and forced to me. I also think that the extension of the chorus should become part of the regular chorus, and that would make the chorus the best part of the song, in my opinion.
