im thinking of building a bo diddley box-style guitar for a first scratch-made guitar. but with only one pickup and one volume control and a plane fixed bridge. anybody know where to find the measurements (blueprints) for it? here's a pic so you can see what i'm talking about.

What do you need measurements for?

The only measurement you need is the neck scale, which determines the bridge position.

Then you place the bridge, and the pickups relative to it.
Then the wiring will be as simple as a guitar can be, almost.

In terms of bridge, try the LP Jr Wraparound bridge.
