Well the modded amp he used on appetite, contributes a huge amount to the tone. Even live he sounds different.

What'll help is to turn the amp prescence very high, and then lower the tone and use the neck pickup. Also you guitar needs to have .02 tone caps, .047 will sound very dfferent.
