Can't really speak for the BBE, but I just got a Big Muff and I have a Traynor amp. Its pretty sweet, it sustains for a decent amount of time, the tone is very rich and creamy. However be aware to get all that sustain, you also have to work with alot of distorted/fuzz tones.
