I've decided if worst come sto worst on getting a good guitar I'm going to take the warmoth rout. I plan to get there jazzmaster body, and if possible get them (warmoth) to rout it for a P90-S-S-P90 and then set the pickups as follows, Jazmaster-Jag-Jag-Jazzmaster. And then have standered Jazzmaster/Jag Pup's. And a Mustang neck on it. Would it work?

if you have 4 pups, what would be the pup selector configuration?
And I doubt that they will rout it for you

My bet for the Pup selector configuration would be kinda confusing. Standered Jag/Jazz sliders for the Jag Pups, then a four way selector for the Jazz P90's. The fourth turns of the Jazz P90's. And thother two way toggle for turn on and off the Jag singles.

Good luck to you. I am doing a thinline Jazzmaster build. It should be up in a week or so.

4 pups? Your going to have to have a HUGE scale so you have enough body in there to fit 4 pups.

Good luck.

uh...

The Jazzmaster doesn't have P90s. It has wide-range Single Coils.

you'd be better off using the P-90s otherwise the Jazz pickups will take up all the room.
