Hey there,

Alright i'm looking for a new amp to start jamming with other people and possibly playying some small shows. I play mostly 80's metal and a little bit of classic rock.
I'll be getting a job as soon as they place i put my application in at calls me for an interview and i'll be saving right away for an amp so the price doesn't matter too much but i want it to be portable.

Thanks

or a mesa recto

Dont double post.

And a Mesa is too modernly voiced for classic rock.

JCM800 combo would be sweet.

Or JCM800 head with a 2x12.

what's your budget?
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
