hey all, i bought a Esp Dave Mustaine DV8-R yesterday (**** yeah)

i have two q's about the pickups (active)

they get extremely dirty, and look really bad when they're dirty: What can i use to clean them? just a wet rag?

and second, about the battery, it drains really fast!! is it being drained in the following cases:

1) plugged in amp on
2) plugged in amp off
3) plugged in amp on, volume of pups up
4) plugged in amp on volume of pups down to zero
5) not plugged in

I wouldn't put a wet/damp cloth near my guitar, nevermind my pickups. Just breath on them and keep going over them with a Dry cloth.

Also, take the lead out of your guitar when not is use, leaving it in turns on Active pickups circuitry which drains the battery

1) Yes
2) Yes
3) Yes
4) Maybe, not sure but I would say Yes
5) No
