I can sing somewhat, but I dont have the best voice. I heard that the more you sing..the better your voice will get. Anyone know if this is true?

hmm i'm in the same predicament as you. I tried to record a few tracks of myself singing and to be honest i hated the sound of my voice. .. but to others it may sound different. I think you just have to get used to it..,. every voice is unique. I'm practicing singing now through writing my own songs.. i think that's one of the best ways to improve, writing your own stuff.

yup the more you sing the better you get, at first i couldn't hold a note with a forklift but the more i did it the better i got, i think learning an instrument helps because you become accustomed to hearing the intervals you're going for and it becomes easier to hear them internally which in turn makes it easier to externalize (or sing it)

it took you 15 consecutive hours of practice to realize that playing guitar makes you better at playing guitar. congratulations.
