ok i've frankly been inspired by you guys and am gonna make a bass

we have some old hoop pine downstairs and i have an idea of making a six string bass out of it, i'd buy the neck but what do you guys think, it'll have a rough natural edge and probably clear stain with a rosewood fretboard.

i'd appreciate the feedback

I'm homeschooled because I got tired of the corporate conformist administration.

So I have a pretty crime free school, unless i decide to kill someone.

It's pretty hard to find someone as hardcore as Tom. The race for hardcore supremacy would be pretty close but i think Tom's got his nose just in front for now...

Cool, make sure you keep us posted on how hoop pine works for you, i've been thinking about using it myself, it's been used on guitars before, gilet guitars in sydney sell hoop pine body blanks. Hoop pine isn't actualy a "real" pine either.
