or you could get more satisfaction by blowing the amp, smashing up the guitar and throwing the pedal at a camel

Agree ^^^^^ unless you need $$$$ for baby formula, keep your gear. I once sold a Fender Rhoads electric piano, and I kick myself in the ass everytime I think about it. I don't get rid of ANY gear
