Hey guys, i just got my Floyd Rose trem working again(id lost the locking nuts and i just got a new pair), and i was wondering if anyone knows how to pull off any unique sounds or do little tricks with the whammy bar, that can be incorporated into my playing to make it sound a little more interesting. I only know one and thats a little trick dimebag used to pull off involving natural harmonics.
Cheers guys, try to be as descriptive as possible if u wanna share with me, so that other epople whho may read this can learn form it too.

dimebag put as much emotion in to 9/10 of his solos as hitler showed when putting jews in syanide showers.

use it to get a different attack on notes, so pre bend it downwards or upwards and then play your note and let go at the same time, quite odd, or pull it back so its facing the opposite direction you normally would and use it to do some odd ornaments, sounds kinda like oriental music if you play around a bit, just stuff like that you can incorporate into your lead playing if thats what you mean
also its probably better to do artificial harmonics when you do that dive thing, sorta thing satch does a lot too, its pretty cool but you cant really incorporate it into your soloing if thats what you want to do
oh and check out the "The audience is listening" live video (Steve vai) on youtube.com theres this cool thing he does at the start where he just shakes the **** out of the guitar...
probably not too good for your guitar though, he's alright cause he can just get his tremolo unit replaced whenever he needs it lol

Turn your whammy bar 180º to what you'd usually have it, pick a harmonic and hit the base of your guitars body. It causes the bar to "truamtize" and the string shakes violently. Cant be good for your guitar but, oh well*
