how do u guys set up ur pickups position??

does lowering or raising the pickup position will effect the guitar sound?

Higher = More Output (not meaning more volume)
Lower = Lower Output

hit and a miss. the higher your pickup the more it will be able to pick up the strings but if you go to close you can effect your string sustain. also depending on your pickup things could start to get muddy. for lower pickups you will probably experience volume loss for sure but good to balance things out if your bass strings are louder than your treble strings

Not necessarily, more accentuated tone is what I particularly notice. With gain if you lower the pickups you get a nice bluesy overdrive (set Volume and Tone to about 5 each).
