if it's the combo version of the vh100r, it still works, and you like its tone, then yes.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

The VC range of amps don't have a whole lot of distortion (I believe). They are in the realm of vox AC30 kinda tones.

^ aye, but i think the vc50 is the combo version of the vh100r, though it's (vc50) now discontinued. I have no idea why they'd call it "vc", but there you go (i.e. if it is the combo of the vh100r, it sounds nothing like the other lower wattage vc combos).

I don't know too much it if it isn't a bigger version of the VC30. Although, Laney typically make nice amps, so I say go for it if the price is right.
