lol there really aren't better strings for playing certain types of music it just depends what you wanna tune in and how you like your strings dime used DRs and after he died they just so happend to make a dime string LOG uses GHS if i remember correctly and i personally prefer GHS if you gonna drop tune though get hevier gauge strings i personally prefer tnts even in standard

For non-standard, dropped down stuff (from the looks of what you put) you want heavier gauges as they'll hold the tuning better. If you mean something else then please explain.
