Hi I need some advice...I have to ship my guitar (Ibanez rg) from california to Michigan (for college), and I want to do it as cheaply as possible. Any of you guys know of some ok hard cases that won't break the bank?

Thanks...

anything wood or metal, dont get plastic unless its airline rated (pref. with a pressure release valve) as most plastic cases crack from pressure, and climate changes.
This should be fine for what you need:

dont ship it unless its a flight case, period. But yeah the one reccomended by the guy above seems like itll work. But expect to pay a lot for shipping.

i wouldnt, you really need a flight case thats up to airline specs, unless youre going to ship fed ex or something.

I agree with him^

but i would recommend a flight case even for FedEx. (plus you get added protection for those dorm room accidents)
