Mine doesn't work. Well, actually I think it does, because my guitar teacher does it my hiting have muted strings or something and then it works. Is there a certain way you use it, or does it just not work?

To make the whammy work, you don't move it back and forth like most people think. you pull it up and push it down like you're taking it away from your guitar or trying to make it french it.
This is Bob. Bob likes sharp things. Bob likes you. I suggest you run from Bob.

Why do we feel it's necessary to yak about bullsh*t in order to be comfortable?

That's when you know you found somebody special. When you can just shut the f*ck up for a minute, and comfortably share silence.

What are we supposed to do with this?

The principle of the whammy bar is just to hit a note and move the whammy bar, right?
