Last night I just started strumming my electric, and I came up this.

I don't know if this would be better on rythem guitar or lead guitar.

Settings: electric, clean sound

Time Signature: 4/4
q=quarter note
e=eighth note

  e e q e e q e e q
E------------------------------------
B-5-5-5-0-0-0-0-0-0------------
G-0-0-0-5-5-5-0-0-0------------
D-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5------------
A------------------------------------
E------------------------------------

Should be played like it is above, or like this:

  e e q e e q e e q
E-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0------
B-5-5-5-0-0-0-0-0-0------
G-0-0-0-5-5-5-0-0-0------
D-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5------
A-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0------
E-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0------

Sooooo much potential. I can hardly stand it.
Jazz up the rhythm and get some similar chords and that would be a pretty cool lead.
Eighth, eighth, quarter rhythms get pretty boring.

I agree with aprescott, man. I mean i can see where you were trying to go but use some different rhythms. Also, keeping the same bass note (E in the second version) gets extremely boring.
Just spice it up.
sorry if i only reiterated what he said above me.
