I just saw the Violent Femmes live on Saturday night and I have got to say, their bassist absolutely blew me away. I believe his name is Brian Richie. You guys if not familiar with him should check him out.

He has been one of my favorites for a long time now. If you don't have their self-titled debut, really, go pick it up. If it was up to me, every bass player would be forced to listen to it. He is a god of the acoustic.
