Well I was just looking through the NINJAM Auto Song Archive, and I found one of my Jam sessions that it turns out they recorded, which can be found here:

Note that there were 2 or 3 of us guitarists, so in case you were wondering I'm the one with the dark reverb drenched tone and repetitive licks. The clean jazzy guitar is not me

Not to sound too harsh, but there's some obvious timing problems... the bass is too pronounced and is clipping like crazy.

Its deathly repetative. Ouch. Somebody's guitar is too loud in this mix. The mastering of this needs a lot of work to get it right.

It sounds like it could be a fun little tune, but this needs a lot of work to get this to sound more professional.

Sorry, but I'm just being honest. I'm not trying to say the song is crap, just the mixing and mastering needs a lot of work.

I told you it was a JAM session, so mixing=crap and timing=crap.

I know that, but it still has problems. You posted and I critiqued it. That's the way it works here.

That's why I posted a link to my little POS recording. Listen to it and return the "favor" by being honest with me about my stuff.

Do that and you'll get more people to listen to your song, because they will know you'll critique their's in return.

Yeah I'll have to admit that it is crap.

yer the drummer seems to slow down a bit, and it seems a bit dis-jointed. its alright for a jam session, but its not the best jam session ive heard. sometimes they can really gel, otheres well.........

It gets better asa it goes along, i like the way that it isd quite relaxing, although some of the guitaring doesn't really go. Its like whoever is playing the lead bit over the top, its not the smooth guitar, i mean the kinda funky choppy guitar, it sounds too disjointed, and not like your working together!

its not bad but its nothing special, i think there are some excellent flicks in it, and there are some moments of perfection, like at about 2:30, that guitar sound is excellent.

keep up the good work, hope that has helped!

cool riff, but it gets kinda old. I understand that its just a jam session.. but the soloing doesn't really carry it enough to justify the length. the playing in the solo is good tho. cool bluesy riffs.
If you expect a kick in the balls and get a slap in the face, it's a victory.
