I was looking online for some pickups, and I came across this company called Q-tuner that makes these transparent bass pickups:

http://www.q-tuner.com/Q-tuners-Bass.shtml

The wav file called "Aspie" (elsewhere on the site) is pretty amazing rich with harmonics. Try that with your Jazz bass pickup!

Anyways, anybody here have these pickups in their bass, or have any comments/criticisms about these pickups? They are pretty expensive and quite "high-tech" looking compared to the vintage Hagstrom/Hammon "Dark Star" pickups that I usually boast about.
Jaco de Lucia.

The Zen of Duh: How low can you go? Zero Hertz. That's the lowest anyone can go. Just turn off your bass amp and not play.

Q-tuner PUs (0X0 configuration) and HG Thor Labs for the best fretless bass tone. MWAH FACTOR!!!

Those are quite the interesting pickups... I've never heard of them. And I doubt that anyone else here would have them. I suggest you go over to Talkbass they generally know way more than us here.
