im selling my marshall half stack, the head is a marshall valvestate 8200, 200 watts, one tube preamp, chorus, reverb, clean, crunch, distortion1 and 2, and the guy that wants to buy it offers me 500, i am appalled to think that 500 would be enough for this amp especially for the fact that an mg half stack sells for 500, and i mean i know its used but, do u think that i should sell it for 500 bucks?

i have 2 of those heads and i wouldnt take anything for them. i got one in the early 90's and in 2001 i got another one for a backup off ebay. really cheap. most underated head off all time. it was the last of the good valvestates. i dont even use those much anymore, but ill never part with them. last time i had them serviced i had the high gain 12AX7ACZ put in in place of the ECC83 tube in the preamp section.
