i need one that will put out alot of distiortion but not make a metalish muddy noise.......any suggestions??

i suggest the digitech death metal pedal, very high gain with tonal versitility. if your looking for a more modern rock, the don donegan weapon pedal sounds good.

the boss MD-2( i think thats what its called) its like red-orange.....the only distortion pedal ive ever liked

Actually, I have both pedals. Don't be fooled by the audio samples Musician's Friend put out--I mean, for the most part, it sounds the same, but when I used it, I didn't have that real heavy distortion like I heard on Musician's Friend. The only time I use this pedal is for it's reverb sounds.

I'd just go with the Digitech Death Metal pedal. It's really, really cheap and it has the best distortion I've ever heard.
