can someone give me a list of recording software for the an apple imac, thats easy to use like Record Producer Etc any help is appreciated and if possible low in price

Logic is great, but its extreemely expensive.
you can use Garage Band for recording
Ableton Live can also be used for recording.

thats all i can think of for mac.

If its a Mac then pro tools or logic pro 6 is the way, you can download a free version of pro tools from the digidesign website, but your best bet would be pro tools lite 7, out of cubase sx3, logic pro 5-6, digital performer ect... pro tools is and always will be the best sequencer program.

ok can someone tell me if the pro tools free is a freeware version? and will it at least let me record my files into the computer?
