Hey guys, i have a bit of a problem.

I have a homemade tele body that i am stripping. I used stripper, which took most of the paint off, and then sanded it. There is a lot of primer down in the wood pores and i need to know the best way to get rid of it. the body is made of mahogany and maple. I plan on using a hand-rubbed oil finish, so any tips on getting the wood in top shape will also be appreciated.

sand it all off, its OK to sand some of the wood away if the primer is in the grain. Just dont go overboard.....you might also try steel wool with the stripper on the wood.
