I never really expected that I would be one to like Jazz music but after I heard Wayman Tisdale's CD at my internship at universal....I can honestly say that he makes Jazz music really entertaining...he puts and upbeat and interesting twist to old classics...and hands down he is very talented as a bassists....so check him out if you enjoy jazz music and other smooth music....

He played college basketball for Oklahoma and in the NBA. Never heard his music, but I like OU.

that's because Wayman Tisdale... was in the NBA! and not a player from the old days, but in the 90s, so if you were a fan of basketball like me you saw him play. i heard he was a musician too and a damn excellent one, but i've never actually heard his music. bernie williams the baseball player is another jazz-playing athlete.

Bernie plays jazz? I always thought he was just an acoustic player.
