Any body else ever expierienced trouble with the 30 DFX? I switch mine on, and when I strum the guitar no sound comes out of the amp until I give it a few nice smacks on the top. The OD channel also won't switch on. I can't find the booklet that came with it so I don't know what the warranty is on it.
me- "So what guitar do you think I should get?"

Jon- "Definately the Gibson Les paul SG!"

The problem I had with mine was fixed by getting rid of it and getting a decent amp.

my mom found me sitting in the kitchen, eating Corn Flakes from the floor. when she asked me what I was doing, I just roared at her and ran up to my room.

Those MG amps are full of problems, I'd get it fixed or take it back to the store and get a Vox AD30.

If you can, take it back and get somethign better. Like a Vox Valvetronix or Roland Cube.

Or spend a bit mroe and get a Peavey Valveking 112. I've heard good things about them for cheap tube amps...
