Anyone know much about the Taylor 614-CE accoustic? Was playing one yesterday and it was stunning! Anyway, jsut wondering if anyoen has had much experience with them?

If I remember correctly the 600's are maple and sitka spruce. The 14's have the mid size body so it's going to give you a very controlled sound. Great for recording, but they cost a lot. Depending on avalibility of tonewoods the 600's often cost as much or more than the 700's.

They are good guitars if you like the sound and have the money to spend.

Any idea about the 800s? 815 to be exact?

The 815 is the exact opposite of the 614. The rosewood gives it a warm tone with lots of sustain and the jumbo body gives it a bassy tone without being boomy. Both are good instruments but they searve you in very differant ways.
