What are some good emotional bass solos that are intermediate level? Thanks for any advice.

I can really get into Flea's solo in the Mars Volta's "take the veil cerpin taxt". Bunch of hammers and pulls. Try it out.

Portrait of Tracy by Jaco Pastorius is a very emotional bass solo (However I wouldn't call it intermediate, but it's playable)

^ agreed, it's a work of art, quite simply. many can play it, but not many can PLAY it.. if you get me. I've been working on the first half for about six weeks now and am just getting it down to a stage where i would say i am ready to play the next half..

I say love thing (satch, covered by Stu Hamm) is a gret piece to learn, but it's not easy to play it with the same feel as Stu the master..
