Would the Laney VC30 be okay for bedroom practice? I know it is quite powerful for that purpose but I think I would probably need the power for band practice and possible gigs in the future. Any help would be much appreciated.

It's a 30 watt class A valve amp if that helps.

Yeah... just crank the master and keep the channel volume low. I manage with a 60 watt tube 2x12 lol. It'll obviously sound better loud, but you should be good if you crank the master in the first place.

Good luck man

That's a lot of booze. Frankly, I'm impressed. You're of a stronger timber than the average man, jimbob! Hail you.

Crank the master volume? Wouldn't that be very loud?

yeah, it should be fine, seeing as how you need the extra power for gigs. you can just turn it down.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

It's got a good clean sound, and even at low volumes the drive channel sounds good, can get a tone similar to Free's All Right Now. It'll probably get away just with with some classic metal. Also it'll probably need some sort of boost for certain solos, and a roadie to carry it, it weighs just under 30kg, but all valve amps are heavy.

^ isn't the 1x12 lighter than that?
