As said in the title i'm looking to replace the neck. I don't know how exactly i figure out what kind of neck fits it. I don't know the scale length or how to figure it out. I would like to have a twenty two fret neck instead of the twenty one fret neck that was originally on there. Sooo. How do i know what fits and what doesn't?

take a measuring tape and measure from the nut to the 12th fret. then multiply that number by 2 and voila, scale length.

Necks are measured that it's either one or the other, so if you measure closest to either then (I think) you will end up with one neck then both of them.

Like, if you measure nearest to the nut from 12th, you'll get a length. Which will give you one neck.

If you measure nearest to the bridge from the 12th, you'll get a length. Which will probably give you one neck, if not the same.

So you won't lose anything either way.

oh well to the nut side the scale length's twenty four. So I can basiclyl get any neck with a scale length of twenty four and it will be fien as long as the width is right and so is the holes?
