It's difficult to find a good quality mic that will plug directly into the computer. Although it isn't exactly what you asked for, here's a simple setup that I use that I find gets pretty good recording quality for the price:

Tascam US122 Audio Interface (plugs into USB)
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Tascam-US122-USB-AudioMIDI-Interface?sku=240868

with this mic:

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/MXL-MXLV63M-Condenser-Studio-Microphone-with-Shockmount?sku=273158

Costs about $250 for both on musiciansfriend. If you're wondering why the Tascam got bad reviews it's because people couldn't figure out how to work it... not sure why since it was extremely simple to me.

Good luck.
what is the music theory and what does it teach you, like scales, solos, and to build speed???

Blue makes a mic called the Snowball that uses a USB plug to go directly into the computer. I have never heard one, so I can't comment on how well they work or how good they sound. If you are serious about recording I would recommend getting an audio interface and a nice mic like a Shure sm57.
