What is this amp best suited for, I play a lot of nu-metal/metalcore...i was thinking about the 40 watt combo?

i already know what a peavey can do...im looking around for sued ones dont worry..but about the ashdown..has anyone played that, or eevn teh 60watt combo or head versions?

i've played the ashdown, if you can get the 5150 for a similar price, get it instead, it's a better amp...

^ well, the pros of the 5150 is that it's a really good hard rock metal amp. Cleans are crap though, and it's not the most versatile amp out there...

the cons of the ashdown are that its high gain tone is really aimed at nu-metal. Hence it's very bassy, and can get muddy if you're not careful. I'd say it's more versatile than the 5150 though- but if you want to play metal, I'd say the 5150 is better at it.

im not good on the specific metal genres, like think Unearth (7 string), or Shadows Fall...
