Here is the thread where you Collective Soul fans can talk about the band, the songs, and the live shows. I heard they are in progress of making a new album.

Any idea how far off the new album might be?

I thought Dosage was just dynamite.

The band is pretty good, except the singer. Never really like his voice. I have their first album downloaded on my computer.

I really like Collective Soul and I've been meaning to get into them more. "Heavy" was one of the first modern rock songs I fell in love with. In fact, I love every single they've released or that I've heard of. I really loved "Better Now" and that sweet sax section. "Precious Declaration" is awesome and I love the guitars and vocals especially on that track. "How Do You Love" is a real good ballad. "Where the River Flows" has an awesome heavy guitar.

You gotta buy the DVD Home. It's so awesome, I really like the version of Better Now they played with the orchestra. Ed really likes to get the audience involved.

Here is Shine with the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra.

Ive heard of them, but I haven't had a chance to listen to them. What are some good songs that would start me off.

I've heard a couple of songs. They sound good; I'll probly pick up an album one of these days.
