If i was to add a 3rd note (as a hammer-on or pull-off) in between the regular notes of a pentatonic scale where would the apropriate place be? any advice would be helpful

for example: the x's are where i am guessing but i dunno

|--1--|----|--X--|--4--|
|--1--|----|--X--|--4--|
|--1--|--X--|--3--|----|
|--1--|--X--|--3--|----|
|--1--|----|--X--|--4--|
|--1--|----|--X--|--4--|

(copy and paste this to correct me) and ps dont be douche bags about it im just asking a question

Here's the minor blues scale

|--1--|----|----|--4---|
|--1--|----|----|--4---|
|--1--|----|--3-|--4--|
|--1--|----|--3-|------|
|--1--|-2-|--3--|-----|
|--1--|----|-----|--4--|

Edit: you may find this site useful if your looking fo some scales www.all-guitar-chords.com
