I'm looking at the Carvin Legacy series and MTS series. I was wondering how good they are. Would they be good for metal?
My SICK rig!:

-Ibanez GRX20Z
-Vox Valvetronix AD30VT

^So much better than my Bullet Reverb!!

Awesome!

The MTS, I've heard, is great for metal.
The Legacy....no. Besides not having enough gain, it's really not voiced for it.
Someones knowledge of guitar companies spelling determines what amps you can own. Really smart people can own things like Framus because they sound like they might be spelled with a "y" but they aren't.

Both are solid amps. The MTS leans toward metal more than the Legacy, think XXX v. JSX.

For almost the same money I'd go for the V3.
It's a fine line between clever and stupid.

Eh...I've heard quite a bit of the V3, and I just don't like the sound at all. Even for metal, it seems harsh and cold.
