How do I strike a string really hard downwards on a Bass while standing? It seems to me that I strike it harder whilst sitting but not as hard while standing, also I want to do it on the very end - any techniques?
well i dont normalt play pickstyle but from when i have id probably say just get more of the pick between the strings and just really give it an UHH lol ya know what i mean, like dont just hit the string witht the tip of the pick, im not 100% on that tho so give it a try and if it dont work sorry but someone smarter should talk soon im guessin have fun
were all a bunch of brothers livin in a cool way along with 6 million others in a place called L.A. --out in L.A. by rhcp
Does it really matter how hard u hit the string?
If the problem is volume just turn ure amp up its not like u change from sitting to standing often when playing anyways
plucking it further up the fretboard should allow you to pluck harder.
